The sixth largest town in the island, Zabbar is located in the south eastern region of Malta and is the neighbor town of Birgu (Vittoriosa), Bormla (Cospicua), Kalkara, Fgura, Marsaskala (Wied il-Ghajn), Xghajra and Zejtun. The patron saint of Zabbar is the Our Lady of Grace (Madonna tal-Grazzja) whose feast is celebrated on the first Sunday after Victory Day (8th of September). The feast of St. Michael the Archangel is also celebrated on the third Sunday after Victory Day.
The western part of the town is constituted of il-Biccieni and tal-Bajjada, whereas the eastern part is a residential area.
Originally a part of Zejtun, Zabbar is formally known as Citta Hompesch, a title granted by Grand Master of the Order of St. John Ferdinard von Hompesch zu Bolheim. As of March 2014, Zabbar has a population of 15,404 people. Attractions include Fort Leonardo, Sanctuary Street, Hompesch Gate and the Zabbar Sanctuary Museum. Agatha Barbara, first female President of Malta, was born in Zabbar and lived there until her death in 2002. A monument commemorating Barbara was revealed in 2006.

St Margaret College Zabbar Primary School A
The two-storey campus with fourteen classrooms in the ground floor and eighteen classrooms in first floor harkens back to 1954. Amenities such as a play area, multimedia room, conference room and an indoor play area specifically for kindergarteners are all available. Another play area is accessible for students from Year 1 onwards.
The school collaborates with Dinja Wahda and has been awarded the bronze award. Various staff members have registered for the first aid course which was held in the premises beyond school hours.

St. Angela Kindergartens
The St. Angela Kindergartens church school welcomes students from the ages of three to five years. Fire drill practices are carried out at least once during the academic year.
School uniforms can be bought from id schoolgear in Attard where school shoes are also available. The outlet is closed during Christmas and Easter holidays. A scarce amount of second hand uniforms can be purchased post induction meeting.
Inclusion is key, thus any treatment that might destroy the student’s self-esteem is strictly prohibited and a cause for disciplinary action.
Parents are reminded to dress appropriately when visiting the premises. The school operates a strict policy regarding the use of electronic devices in the classroom. Under no circumstances must be cameras be used unless they belong to the school. Consent forms are issued to parents in order to let school know whether or not they wish to allow staff members to take pictures of their children during outings and events. Photographs are usually stored in a computer, parents can be reassured that these pictures will never be distributed anywhere and will be deleted once they are delivered to them.
Full uniform must be worn at all times. Should the student be donning incomplete or the wrong uniform, parents are to change their children into the right uniform. Female students should have their hair pulled back neatly in a bun or ponytail with a navy blue elastic band. Any other head wear is not permitted. Male students should sport short hairstyles. Jewelry other than stud earrings for girls is also not accepted, as well as make-up, sticker tattoos, hair dye and nail polish. Socks and shoes must not be laced. Please read the school policy for further information about the school uniform.
Dismissal on the first week is at 12:00pm. From then on, dismissal times are always at 1:30pm. On the month of June, dismissal times revert to 12:00pm.
Bookings for outings are non-refundable. It would be much appreciated if parents were to accompany their children, transport is also provided for them. Smoking is not allowed.
