Rabat is situated on the west side of Malta, just outside Mdina. Rabat was once the suburb of Mdina, which was the capital city. During the British rule, Rabat saw the introduction of a number of new social services such as the building of a new primary school, medical and postal services, upgrading of spring water, and the start of the train service between Valletta and Rabat. It was the 20th century that brought major developments. After the second World War the population increase to around 12,000 and such increase saw the construction of new areas such as Tal-Virtu and Ghajn Qajjet.

Littleminds Learning Centre
Littleminds Learning Centre in Rabat is a place where babies and toddlers learn through play-based activities. It caters for children aged 6 months to 3 years.
