Mosta

Known for the famous building the Rotunda, Mosta is a town located in the northern region of Malta. This town is also situated to the north-west  of Valletta.  Neighboring villages to Mosta are Naxxar, Rabat, Burmarrad and Lija.  Throughout the years Mosta centre has seen the opening of more commercial premises such as coffee shops and clothing stores.  However, the residential community is continually growing as older houses are being converted and apartments are being built.  Mosta celebrates the feast of St Mary the Assumption which is celebrated on the 15th August, which is also a public holiday.
