Qrendi

Qrendi is situated in the south west part of the Maltese Islands.  It is a small town, but it has important Neolithic temples namely Mnajdra and Ħaġar Qim.  Qrendi is home to the beautiful Wied iz-Zurrieq and Blue Grotto.  It is a very quiet village, with many old buildings and houses.  Despite being small, Qrendi has two village festas, Our Lady of Lourdes which is celebrated around the last Sunday of June and Santa Marija which is celebrated on the 15th August.  Qrendi is situated close to Mqabba and Zurrieq.

Qrendi Primary School forms part of St. Benedict College and is one of the 10 schools of St Benedict College.  Situated just behind the Parish Church, it is a small school that house around 130 students.  The school is open for children from 3 years up to 11 years.  There are 3 kindergarten classes and 7 primary classes.  The academic staff work hard for the educational progress of each student.  Each students abilities and talents are valued and encouraged at Qrendi Primary School.
