Found in the northern region of Malta, Pembroke is considered to be the country’s newest town. It is found to the east of Paceville , which is the nightlife district in Malta. The town of Pembroke got its name after the 12th Earl of Pembroke and British Secretary of War in 1859. Pembroke was declared a parish in 2004, and the Parish Church is dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ. No village feast is celebrated, contrary to the rest of Malta.
